Tony Horton “Checks Out” Shakelogy

I love shakelogy and love this video even more. I drink my shake every day and have loved it for over a year. It makes my life so much easier. I don’t have to worry about what I am taking for lunch and if it is a balanced meal.

To workout or be lazy and make up excuses!

It is all about CONVINCING your mind to workout, not your body! I was having one of those days today where I just wanted to come home and relax a bit before I do more work. I almost made an excuse that I did not have time to workout. Then my mind finally reminded me “working out is non-negotiable” “just do it and you will feel better”, so true!! I did my workout, made dinner, and now am about to do some school work to prepare for parent teacher conferences. Then hopefully I will have some time to sit on the couch and watch tv.

Testimonial of Why P90x is so amazing!

Before I started P90X, I was a typical corporate pear-shaped employee who had finally reached the point where none of my pants fit. At work, I struggled to keep it secret that I had to keep my pants button undone, hidden beneath my taut belt and strategically overhanging shirt.

The final straw came when I took my daughter to an amusement park. I barely fit in the seat on the roller coaster and after struggling to fasten the seatbelt, I only managed to secure it after seeing the look in the ride attendant’s eyes as he was about to tell me I had to get off.

I finally decided that I simply did not want to live the life I was living. After seeing a P90X infomercial—and the amazing results people just like me were getting—I ordered it. What a great move!

My greatest challenge was getting the nutrition right. I love food. Too much. But after struggling over the nutrition guide, and finding material online at, it all made sense. Tracking my calories and micronutrients wasn’t that difficult. Armed with that knowledge, I was ready to start my P90X journey.

I loved the variety and loved the encouragement from Tony to “always do your best and forget the rest.” It was hard at first, but I stuck with it. I wanted to have a build like Tony, so I was ready to Bring It! Every day. Just the idea that you should work out every day so you can have a GREAT life and KICK BUTT every day made me feel powerful. Yes, working out is hard, but it needs to be a part of your daily life, just like brushing your teeth.

Now, my life is 180° different. On the surface, I feel my results are stunning. I lost 50.6 pounds and 10 inches off my waist. But those results don’t even compare to the way I’ve changed as a person. I have more energy for my kids. I have tremendous emotional clarity and mental acuity.

Best of all, people are always coming up to me and asking how I lost all the weight. They think of me as a different person—and I am. I feel like a switch has been turned on and it’s amazing. I wish there was a way I could say THANK YOU to Beachbody and Tony Horton!

Motivating Challenge Results from Les Mils Combat Challenge Pack

I’ve always been overweight and extremely unhappy with my body, but when my dad died from a heart attack at the early age of 55, my health got even worse. I ate when I was depressed, then got more depressed when I gained weight, which made me eat even more because I was more depressed.

One of the ways I tried to control my weight was through bulimia. But after a while, my eating disorder took over my life—and made me feel even more defeated. I admit it, I was a mess—and getting fatter and fatter and more depressed.

I was at the end of my rope, afraid of what would happen to me—and my daughter—if I didn’t get healthy. I needed to act, FAST, and when a friend told me she was joining a Les Mills Combat Challenge Group, I decided to give it a try.

The Shakeology in the Challenge Pack was amazing. It always put me in a better mood and made me feel like I was doing the right thing to fuel my body. But the biggest change came from Combat. The energy, comedy, and fire that the trainers brought was awesome. They made me laugh, sweat, and even cry when I was pushing really hard. Just having something positive in my life was so therapeutic.

Within the first two weeks, I managed to lose 15 pounds and started to begin to see changes. That kept me going. When I started posting my progress on social media, people started asking me for advice. Imagine that. That made me feel so proud, I decided to take the step to become a Beachbody Coach.

I can’t tell you how happy I am that I lost over 30 pounds in 60 days. I feel like I actually became a better person. The feeling that I got when people look up to me is addicting. I love being a Coach, and I love what Beachbody has done for me.

Teacher’s sitting in training versus actually teaching

Today instead of teaching students where I usually am never sitting down, always moving around, and usually exhausted by the end of the day. Today I got to sit on my butt all day listening to a person talk. SOOOO boring and well not a good way to burn calories. To compensate for my day of sitting my meals have consisted of Shakelogy only and a 90 calorie brownie snack. Then as soon as I get home today I plan on nailing by T 25 workout and then going to take my dog for a long walk. I need to work out extra this week since I took the week off last week! Hoping for some great results this saturday.
